Teleflex
Jaffrey, NH | 12,000 SF | Lavallee Brensinger Architects
Vantage Builders completed the new ground-up medical device manufacturing facility for Teleflex Medical OEM. This is a facility with full downstream and packaging solution capabilities to support existing operations. This project required a full MEP package, long lead times, and extensive coordination between all teams involved. Steel work included tying into three sides of the new building structure to existing spaces which include occupied medical device facilities that needed to stay up to standards during the course of construction.
Vapotherm
Exeter, NH | 41,000 SF | Udelsman Associates
Vantage Builders built-out the new manufacturing facility for Vapotherm, Inc. at 100 Domain Drive in Exeter, NH. The 41,000- square foot project included the complete renovation and conversion of bare warehouse space into a mix of office, medical device manufacturing, R&D and distribution space. In order to create the proper hospital environment necessary to test and manufacture its respiratory products, Vapotherm requires medical grade oxygen. Outside the building, Vantage installed a 1,500- gallon oxygen tank, seated on a concrete pad with protective fencing. The oxygen is delivered to the product development area via newly installed underground plumbing.
Pfeiffer Vacuum

Vantage Builders completed the renovation of an entire, 24,000-SF building for Pfeiffer Vacuum, one of the worlds leading providers of high-tech vacuum solutions for the semiconductor, industrial, coating, analytical and R&D markets. Vantage installed all new MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems and the HVAC work included make-up air units, massive exhaust fans and a polypropylene duct work system. The warehouse area features interior bridge cranes to move the equipment and new, high-speed roll-up doors. Epoxy flooring provides a durable surface throughout the industrial areas of the building. The office area features DIRTT (Do It Right This Time) glass doors and walls. Vantage also completed significant exterior work, including new windows and a storefront.
Oxford Graphics
Peabody, MA | 28,400 SF | Maugel Architects
Vantage Builders completed a 28,400-square-foot renovation project for Oxford Graphics’ new location at 10 Centennial Drive, Peabody, Mass. The project included offices, a production area and warehouse space. The project began with demolition work, to remove the interior finishes from a previous tenant. Vantage installed new electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection and compressed air systems. The location includes a variety of flooring, with carpeting in the offices and VCT (vinyl composite tiles) and epoxy surfaces in the production and warehouse areas.
Schleifring
Chelmsford, MA | 50,000 SF | Stantec
Schleifring purchased 222 Mill Road in Chelmsford, planning to establish its North American headquarters in the two story, 50,000-square-foot building. The German company, which manufactures slip ring assemblies and customized products used in industrial, medical and defense/aerospace applications, hired Vantage Builders for renovation and systems work. Vantage performed a complete build-out of the first floor, creating office, manufacturing and assembly space. Additionally, the firm did significant mechanical work, including new fire alarm, sprinkler and HVAC systems, including RTUs. A new roof was also installed on the red brick building. Critical to the entire project was how closely Vantage worked with Schleifring, not just during construction, but from the due diligence stage when the building was being purchased.
Acton Metals

Following a three-alarm fire that destroyed half its building and created a hazardous and unsafe work environment for employees, Acton Metals brought in Vantage Builders to fully repair and renovate its office headquarters and machine shop. The space features a new layout with updated reception and office space as well as an active facility for special metal finishes. Work included the installation of a new fire protection and HVAC system which required appointing a new water main for the fire protection system that did not previously exist.
KORSCH America
South Easton, MA | 5,000 SF | Annino, Inc.
KORSCH America needed to quickly and economically expand at its North American headquarters in South Easton to provide space for new machine inventory, an equipment rebuild area and expanded test laboratories. Vantage Builders completed a 5,000-SF ground-up construction for the global manufacturer of tablet compression equipment for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, vitamin, chemical and technical industries. The project called for a pre-engineered metal building, which is durable, functional and, with no internal columns, provides for maximum space utilization. Vantage completed site work to prepare for the construction, poured the concrete flooring, and assembled the building. Vantage extended the sprinkler system from the main building into the expansion and performed the electrical work and installed a complete HVAC system to ensure use during all four New England seasons. Large overhead doors ease the transfer of bulky equipment in and out of the new space. The expansion includes a mezzanine level, which doubles the size of the spare parts inventory area.
Magellan Aerospace Corporation
Haverhill, MA | 80,000 SF | Visnick & Caulfield Associates
Vantage divided the existing 120,000-square-foot facility into an 80,000-square-foot tenant space for Magellan, creating a new entrance and building out 12,000 square feet of new office space. The main electrical service had to be split to accommodate Magellan’s manufacturing requirements. A 1,200-square-foot clean room, reception area, and lunch room were all created at the site.
Omnicare
Peabody, MA | 55,000 SF | PFB Architects
Vantage Builders completed a 55,000 square foot renovation project for Omnicare, Inc. at 2 Technology Drive in Peabody, Mass. The $1.3 million project included the creation of new office, pharmacy and shipping/receiving space for the Ohio-based Fortune 500 company. The office build-out encompasses 16,000 square feet of space and created a dozen new offices and room for dozens of cubicles. The area also includes a lunch room and a high-tech training center with room for 40 trainees. Vantage also installed a new HVAC system, which provides critical air flow and temperature control for the pharmaceutical services company. The HVAC features twelve new roof top units, ranging from three-tons to 15-tons, as well as a duct sock system throughout, which was easier to install and has quieter operation than traditional metal ductwork.
